Love your neighbor

We are the right people at the right place at the right time.

Make no mistake about it. Acts 17:26 says, “From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God decided when and where we should be. Mary Lance V. Sisk in her “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself,” wrote: “Where you and I live is no accident! ...God could have chosen for us any city, any neighborhood, any street, but He chose to send us to the neighborhoods we live in right now.”

God placed us in our spheres of influence for such a time as this. This coming December, My Hope Philippines will air a three-part evangelistic program over major TV networks. The goal is to reach over 3 million Filipinos with the Good News. Our part is to open our homes. We invite our friend and relatives to watch the program with us. You can actually have it as Christmas party for them. Then we give them an opportunity to put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. Thus, we ask you to pray and seriously consider taking part in this powerful event.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association launched this campaign in 2002. They already held it in different countries like India, South America and Russia. Since then, almost 2 million people prayed to receive Christ in response to the televised invitation by Evangelists Billy and Franklin Graham. They have never seen a response like this before. Now it’s our turn in the Philippines.

Our Lord commanded us to love our neighbor. Someone wrote, “The most loving thing that I can do for my neighbors is bring them to Jesus.” We Filipinos are famous for our hospitality. I believe this will be an effective, non-threatening way to reach our neighbors. We will train you how to do just that. The goal is 300,000 homes. Would your home be one of them?

Brethren, let us love our neighbor.
